Christmas Seasonal

Christmas Event: IT IS NEW AND DIFFERENT... Don't panic, just play and enjoy the game. Plant ginger, make feed, start the tasks.

Same as pretzels and candy: plant ginger, mill feed, feed to animals to get cookies.

The end goal of this seasonal event is to Build/Upgrade as Christmas Tree.

Now confirmed that the tasks will be available till after Christmas (possible into the new year) - think Jan 6th... (Somebody tipped me off that on New Farm, there is a counter counting down to Jan 6th, aka Monday morning update)

Doing the first 24 cookie tasks is 16750 cookies (~400 per day over the 42 days) will get you all the baubles needed to decorate the tree. Every time you complete a tree upgrade after level 4, a new task will spawn to give you lights (and star).

Tree level 9 and 10 have messed up graphics. BF will fix that. Level 9 disappears, level 10 has been fixed.

Cookies are not worth nearly as much ($312.50 vs $1000) in the market and there are no rare materials. Instead, you get coins, which you can use to buy presents.* Fields give icicles that are needed to upgrade the Christmas Tree. There are 5 cafe recipes and a new fish recipe as well.

You lose between $1600 and $2500 in market sales per recipe (depending on which one), making them 2 to 5 times better then honey using recipes. You are better off to use cookies in the cafe and sell honey on the market (or make mallets)

Seaweed humus is seaweed humus. You can go through assigning gold values and calculating field time, but for the majority of farmers, this is your only way to generate a very valuable resource that just makes it a great recipe.

Best option is to still feed chickens. Put in a temp level 1 Candy Chicken.

*There are Blue and Green coins. These are used to buy gifts under the shopping cart. Blue come from upgrading the tree.

There is no place in the game that shows you how many Christmas Balls you have. BF has acknowledged this.

There are 3 sets of tasks:

• Build and upgrade your Christmas Tree

• Collect cookies (This starts after you build the level 1 Christmas Tree) First 2 tasks are ginger and finger feed. These tasks give you the red, blue and green Christmas balls needed to upgrade the tree

• Collection and market tasks. These tasks unlock after you upgrade (must be opened) the Christmas tree from level 4+. They will give you lights and the star for the next upgrade. (Upgrade the tree, get a new task to complete for the next upgrade)
