Apple Devices Lock Out at 88%

It is now over! You will need to update the app for everything to work.

Many people are not getting the update option... if you click on the image to the left of OPEN, it will update... sigh.


Current Problems: (Update Sun 9:00 am) - Nothing fixed yet.

What we know:

Apple devices that have bought a Big Farm Monthly Subscription are being locked out (stalls at 88% load) on or slightly after their subscription renews. The problem stays with the device that bought the subscription; the farm will play fine on other devices.

Restarting, rebooting, reinstalling does not work. Switching Wifi/Data will not work. Cancelling your subscription will not work.*


*If you cancel your subscription before it renews, we have had success with people still being able to play. You will get 7 days to renew and keep your growing rewards perks. If you renew in inside that 7 day window, you will be locked out again. I have not heard of any new users getting the subscription.


We won't know till the 15th of December if cancelling your subscription will bring the game back. (It better be fixed before then)

If you dispute you subscription, based on other events, you will probably have your account banned, which will lead to more delay returning to the game when this gets fixed. It is not recommended at this time.


Big Farm has pinned an update on their Facebook page.


There are a few outliers to this trend, but 99% of non-subscription users are not effected. (There has also been the odd Android user, but these were a different issue).

People are getting on in spurts and BF tries different fixes.


They assure me they have directed all of their attention at this problem and that it is very complex.

I really wish we had a walk around...

I have suggested a possible walk around to try and get people back into the game. I don't know if it is possible on their end.


If you find anything that works, let us know, but we may have to wait it out.


We have been trying to figure out a different walk around independent of the game and have not had an success yet.

You can play your farm on bigfarm.com. Log in under the second tab using your Facebook Log In. The cafe, fishing, adventure farm and co-op village are missing, but the rest works (warning, interface is lacking.) Picture attached.

First of all, we know that saying sorry is not enough anymore. But right now we cannot do more than apologize for the connection issues some of you are facing! We understand how frustrating this situation is and that the fix is taking way too long! However, the whole team is working on it and we are doing all we can to find a solution for this condition. Yet, the problem is highly difficult and we need more time. We know that this status is very upsetting and annoying for all of you.

Please be assured that we are constantly working on it but have to ask for a bit more patience!
