Better Than Growing Cash

I was pondering upgrading my beehive from level 3 to 4...

Means buckets... have to buy buckets. That isn't going to happen at the moment. But, you could process more honey, which would make more money...

Think about this: Beehive level 3 can process 150 flower honey over night in 6 hrs. Lets assume you sleep 7.5 hrs. If you pay $5 USD to (buy buckets and) upgrade your beehive to level 4, you can now process 250 honey in 7.5 hrs. You are no longer letting your hive sit idle for 1.5 hrs each night. The extra 100 field honey sells for $118,825 each day.

It would take 87 days to hit $10,300,000. Why that number? Because that is the first growing cash offer... $10 USD to buy $10,300,000 in cash. Or 44 days to earn the equivalent of $5 worth of instant cash, BUT the beehive will continue to give.

(We should also factor in the extra 60 days to pay for the cost of the beehive upgrade. Also, level 4 beehive becomes available later in the game, but for many of us, these packages were introduced when we were already well established.)

If you think long term, upgrading your beehive for $5 is much smarter...

(Spend $10 on buckets and you will have enough to upgrade an apple to level 11, resulting in more then enough nectar to cover the increased tree honey production, and an extra 150 honey per day for glazed fish or market sales... you just have to fish for the mallets to get your apple to level 10.)
