Nursery - you can now use gold to buy two level ahead on feed. Recipes are the same, but you need gold to activate them. Haven't evaluated their worth yet.
Barnacles Ship - Seem like every game has a vessel you can load with marketable items and then send off for rewards. The ship is available for players level 26 and above, and not available for New Harvest Players. It is the large white ship bobbing in the water on the right side of you farm.
The ship is really simple (and unrefined). You have 15 hours to fill a ship.
Click on it and when it is in port, you will have 3 rows of items to send.
Simply click on each item to have an option to load them.
Complete a row for additional rewards when you send it.
Send the completed ship to collect extra cash, orange/yellow stars, mystery items (I think that is what the chest is about - I got some boosters) and tokens.
Tokens can be spent in the shopping cart to buy additional boosters.
Except for 2 programming mistakes, everything sells for approximately 80% of market value.
If you fill 1 row, you get double the cash when you factor in the bonus.
If you fill the whole ship, you get triple the cash.
If you can't fill the whole ship, only fill the crates that are surplus goods - stuff you can't sell in the market. (This is better than barn selling.)
The Orange/Yellow stars probably means there will be levels to the cargo ship with upgrades in the future. So far there is no place to see how many you have. Fishing started the same way as well.
They also count towards Player Tournament. They applied to you tournament score when you send the ship.
You only collect the bonus rewards (extra cash, tokens, ship xp, bonus chest) if you fill a whole row. If you can't fill an item (like red socks because you don't have a level 8 manufactory), send the ship to get a new one.
It takes 5 hours to return to the harbor for another load. It will show you 3 items needed for the next ship BUT you can get anywhere from 3 to 5 items. (I have seen some ships with only 2 items.) I learned the hard way that it didn't ask for a gold confirmation when I bumped the button. My gold confirmations are on. I have complained, but I doubt I will ever see that gold again.
There is a confirmation if you try to send a half full ship so you don't have to worry about bumping the button.
Confusion
There is no chest... it opens and you get the reward with the cash, coins and stars.
You have to fill a full row (across) to get the green light and earn rewards
The sneak peek of what the next ship wants only highlights the first 3 items. It is very possible to get 4 or 5 items - SURPRISE!
The experience stars have no home... you can't find them anywhere. They do add to your Players Tournament score. My guess is the ship will have levels and upgrades in the future.
Tournament points are applied if you have rows completed when you send the ship
More details to come as things unfold.
Barnacle"s ship is great but what are the orange stars for?????????
