Point blank... sheep are just pigs V2.0. The easiest thing to do is just buy the wool and keep your game rolling. Does it suck? Very, very much. If there was ever a good time to hold off on an update, today was it. Sheep are cool, but you don't have to be happy about this one.
Apple users need to restart after the update to get the game to load.
Sheep are available to build at level 100. They require buckets to build. You can build the first one after 50 market contracts task, but you need sheep to send the contracts! Oops again. The good news is that sheep are cheap to buy from the barn.
You can now get buckets from the dog for premium bones, but you chances are 1 in 100. Average user will get maybe once per year... (1 in 3 years of just regularly feeding the dog)
Buckets
Right now buckets can be bought (Christmas and Materials Package), bought and earned in Farm Contest as part of the season passed, 100 given out in a task to collect 50 market contracts, and a 1.1% chance from premium dog bones. They are also saying the fortune teller will give buckets, but you will probably need to buy and gamble with gold first. (You can statistically win with the fortune teller, if you have enough gold)
Lots of little bugs popping up everywhere over this update.
The mill decreases sheep feed as you level up...
Fields and meadows are not humusing properly...
